Dancing with flowers

Misa could feel something different about hiro in the way he felt. "you're scared of something.....or are you just worried? I'm sorry about the whole beat down thing....please don't be afraid to be around me..."she said sounding more normal now. she tried to step but started to fall.

Hiro grabbed her shoulders to keep her from falling at first his movements were stiff but eventually he began to regain a calm composure. "Well worried about you considering you almost fell and just something sparked a memory that happened a long time ago."

Misa blinked. "really? oh! before I forget what are you? I could hear everything that you had said to shin....you're not human?"she asked feeling weird. she didn't really have a clue of what was going on with her tonight.

Hiro nodded shortly and shifted before rubbing the back of his neck, "Oh you heard, I'm a tengu. To some people they think we're demons, in a way we are but not like they proclaim us as. Most of us cause trouble in the human world. Others seem to fashion the blood of a certain human girl. See each clan usually has a branch of young men, only one will be able to take over, often meaning he must find the bride that relates to a long family history and make her his bride. If she refused often her flesh will be eaten for energy...it's really long and complicated but yeah."

Misa nodded. "wow.....well I guess you know what I am now....heh.....hey hiro....can I tell you something?"she asked as she looked at the ground not sure if she really wanted someone to know.

Hiro looked to her and offered a comforting smile of sorts. "Of course, you well can pretty much tell me anything."

Misa felt tears come to her eyes. without realizing it she threw herself onto him. "I lied!! my brother isn't in the hospital for normal reasons! he was protecting me....from his angel...."she cried. "I'm scared hiro! I don't want to end up like that!"she sobbed.

Hiro tensed up slightly, the hug had thrown him a little off considering he didn't see it coming. Warily he wrapped his arms around her. "It's alright, if I can I'll help in any way."

Misa shook her head. "b-but....if my partner's as mean.....I hate myself so much!!"she said. "I don't want any of this. I wanna be a normal girl with normal friends and a normal family." she said calming down slightly.

Hiro looked down at her, sighing he placed each hand on her shoulders, "Misa calm down. It's going to be okay, maybe not now but I promise you. Things will work out. But you have to believe it will."

Misa nodded feeling odd. "why does this have to happen now? now I have to do the training...."she mumbled. "hey...were you suprized by the fact that most of the people in the club are supernatral creatures??"she asked out of the blue.

Hiro arched a brow and nodded slightly at her question. "A little I mean it doesn't surprise me there would be somewhere like that."

Misa nodded. "yeah. I was so scared of half my family when I found out. until my brother changed....then I wasn't scared...as much."she giggled.

Hiro looked up at the sky and stretched out his arms above his head. "Sheesh what an interesting night."

Misa smiled and looked around. "I guess we should get going...unless you wanna hang around somemore...."she blinked.

Hiro shifted his footing and glanced toward the time on his watch, "Up to you."

"I'd rather do something else but if you're not up to it then we can just go home....it is kinda late....oh! I know you can stay the night!"she offered. "then in the morning you can go home!"she smiled.

Hiro looked to her for a moment or so, "Hmm well sure." He replied before pulling on the hoodie he'd taken inside the club. "You sure though?"

Misa nodded. "yeah! I don't want you to get jumped or something when you're heading home! at least if you go to my house you'll have a big strong dragon to protect you! haha!"she smiled as she held her fist in the air.

Hiro took a step back before laughing, "You bounce back fast." He replied as he looked at her with a fairly amused expression. "Heh well alright."

she giggled as she scratched the back of her head. "kay then lets go!"she said as she started to march in the wrong direction.

Hiro blinked and shook his head, "Hey Misa don't you like live the other way?" He called out as he pointed down the other road.

she blinked once turned around with a blush and laughed. "oh yeah!"

Hiro slipped his hands into his pockets and turned back to see if she was catching up. "Smooth."

Misa ran over to him."hey! thats not very nice....I could always say that you have to sleep in the dog house...."she said before her mind had drifted to what hiro had said. "hey. what did you mean when you said the thingy about the family thingy....omg you eat your girlfriends?!"she said nearly jumping up a street light pole.

Hiro smirked for a moment before the expression died away, "Family...what oh! The clan thing. Well each Tengu family is built so the strongest become the heir. Usually it's the oldest of the siblings but the younger can take it should he win in battle or some sort of challenge. And no I don't eat my girlfriends. Depending on the Tengu they might, it gives them this eternal power. Even licking their blood could heal the most fatal wounds on them and it does the same for the girl or whoever."

Misa nodded still kinda creeped out. "kayz...uh there wasn't anything you wanted to know about dragons right??"she asked as she figited with her fingers

Hiro looked at her for a moment before his gaze returned to the path ahead of me, "Well I've never really thought much of it. But I mean sure tell me something about em."

she stoped and thought for a second. "uh...there are several different catagories that each dragon fits into....devine, which are the strongest but also almost extinct, rain....fire....frost....and earth...there are several different subspecies but they don't have pairings like the main ones do...considering that my brother's a devine...and that koji didn't kill me on contact means that I'm in the devine catagory. basicly what we were made to do is protect angels and other devine beings....but...we never really see any action so we're used for mating in stead....and it doesn't help that our instincts make urges strong....hahaha! thats pretty much all my brother told me!"she smiled.

Hiro listened and took in what she had to say, it was rather interesting to say in the least. "Hmm wow and I thought being a Tengu was complicated."
