Jellyfish at the Ocean

Link Mart Hobo (56 of course), being the frightfully ditlz and slow girl she was, stopped when she had heard the sound of the car. That sound had been so beautiful. Her heart purred. It was the most beautiful sound that she could think of, the sound of that engine startiong up, and running it's course. She watched Rodney drive away, screech the car around, leave. It memerized her to watch. She couldn't take her unglued eyes.
She had stared memzermized by it, never seeing anything like that while tracking Link.
She wanted it. But for once, not to tell it at the nearest Link Mart Store. She wanted it for her and the other hobos.
She couldn't have dared to touch it. 56 had fallen in love.
With Rodenys car.

Hobo 7 wend over to 56. "You want that machine too, Judging from your expression?" He twirled the wind waker in his fingers, "We can use these to get it without doing much damage to it if we play this right." He smirked as he said this.

It took Rodney a whole pack of cigarettes to calm down again, and it was his last one. His lighter could use replacing too... it was almost out of lighter fluid and it wasn't the refillable kind. The car's engine was still running, and the Shelby purred lowly under the sound of the music. He had odd choices, most of it was rap, then violin covers thrown in.

Hobo felt her eyes glint, and her face flush with joy. "Do tell....I'd love to hear what you and your...brown hair...have to say. I'm gain for anyhting."

He grinned at her finally acknowledging his hair as brown, "First we find it, than we use the wind's requiem and ballad of gales to blow him around until he falls out of his machine (I doubt they know what a 'car' is ^^'). Than we ride away with it."

[Scince we don't exaclty see cars riding around Outset...I'd say so XD]
So all we gotta do it find it?" She reaised an eyebrown, "Dude, I can smell that beatuiful scent anywhere" So, she lead them down the direction the smell of exuast was coming from.

"I wouldn't quite call it beautiful, but if you can find it from that, I'm fine with that." He followed his co-worker in the direction of the car.


[what's with you and smelling things today?]

Rodney was digging through the paperwork in the back seat of the car. So much paperwork to do... from his real job, and his cover job.

[Its that kind of day!! A...smelling things...sorta day!!]

She could feel herself getting closer to that thing. Her new toy!! Whatever it was.
Soon, out on the road, she peered forward, to see the beautful thing parked and vaurable. A Ther was a glare from the sides of the car.
"Mirriors!!" She alerted her coworker, and scrambled around looking for a hiding place, which she dragged him too. Some bushes. Not exactly think...byt hey! She could still stare at her love!! "That is so cheating." she hissed.

He continued to work on his old partner's paperwork for him in the back seat of the car. He yawned and scratched his nose with the end of the pen. Out of boredom, he turned up the music and hummed along with the fast beats and slang. He started to absentmindedly drum on the papers with another pen, leaving blue marks at the top of the page.

Hobo 7 didn't feel like pointing out that they use mirrors as shields. "alright," he whispered, "Can you get him out so I can swipe it away with the ballad of gales?"

When the song changed to something violin, Rodney's exhastion came into play. Despite all the danger the young man was just in, still in,








he fell asleep.

Here came the giddy feeling. 56 was up faster then it would have taken a brick to drop from two feet. "I just gotta make sure he doesn't drive away, right?" and her smile curled, not waiting for an anwser from her coworker.
If he saw her in the mirrors, he might drive away. This fact bothereed Hobo. She, she brightened. He can't drive away if he's scared, or trapped!
She bent her flower, a very small angle, and very quickly as well, tied a bowstring from the bud, where it had been hidden, to the bottoms of the stem. She had done this a million times. The blue haired haired girl was an old pro at it.
Speaking of blue hair, it was startign to fall out of the braid. She would have to fix that later.
Hobo pulled out one  of her arrows - and it set ablaze. If her tried to drive away, she would use an ice arrow to stop him. Ummmhum.  
Hobo approached quietly, incase he was busy. She heard the music blasting and happily took that tho her advantage. All too easy.
Then she got to the car and she felt her jaw drop. That would be why it was easy. He was sleeping...
She turned back to her apartner and just flat out keepet her jaw in it's shocked state and pointed to Rodney.

Hobo7 frowned, he wondered what shocked his coworker, than he looked where she was pointing and saw it. The man had fallen asleep. That made this so easy it was almost sad. Almost. They say when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Well right here, life just gave them the lemonade pre-made and saved them the trouble. He moved silently next to56 and whispered, "If we can get him out without waking, we can just ride away in this thing, we don't need the ballad of gales after all." That was assuming he didn't wake up of course.

Rodney continued to sleep on his massive pile of paper work, quite comfortable despite something digging into his back. They say people looked younger in their sleep, well for Rodney, he actually was younger in his sleep. He let his guard down and grasp on his body's age slip through his fingers, and changed to one that was much more comfortable sleeping in the back seat of the car- he turned into a young child, still curled up on a pile of paper.

And 56 blinked. "But this is a kid." she whispered back. "What if this isn't my baby!!!" She whisphered frantically, but in a low, sneaky tone.

Rodney continued to sleep on the pile of paper and rolled over onto his other side. He yawned and curled up in the much, much too big clothes at he was in, but didn't wake.

Hobo blinked, looking down at the cute kid.
Cute or not cute. He was in the way of her getting what she wanted. Needed to be gotten rid of.
Gentally of course.
Hobo 56 turned to her coworker and shrugged. She life the boy very gentally into her arms and hopped for the best.

Rodney stirred in his sleep and slowly opened his eyes before closing them again. He slowly rubbed an eye before realizing he was being moved and latched onto the seatbelt. Because he wasn't fully awake, he was still trying to figure out what was going on.

Link mart hobo 7 saw this and threw his boomerang, cutting the seat belt, hoping it didn't wake the kid somehow. He also hoped it would be easy to fix, but it was minor damage and didn't seem to matter much.

The sound of the fabric ripping immedietly woke him up. Rodney's eyes opened up wide and he saw the seat belt, torn. He turned around and flailed, falling out of the person's grip. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" He yelped in a shrill, childlike voice before changing his age slightly older, just so he wasn't so young and could talk properly.

Hobo 56 blinked, slightly torn at the damaging of her presous possesion. She scooped the older kid in her arms, not noticeing his change, and struggled to take him far enough away so that her coworker could make a getaway.

Hobo7 creeped up to the other side of the car and hopped in it. He looked around, trying to figure out how it worked. He saw something that looked like it would turn it on. It was the key sticking out of the ignition and we he turned it the engine started. "Oh, I am good." He muttered proudly to himself.

Rodney scowled and changed his age back to his 'default', making himself much too heavy to be carried. The full grown 22 year old ran back to the car and opened the door, his chest rumbling loudly with anger. "Get out of my car."

He looked up at the fully grown Rodney. "Oh crap...56, I thought you had him!" He called to his coworker.

With a deepening scowl, Rodney used mana to threaten the guy sitting in his Shelby. One hand on fire and the other with another bubble of water around it, swirling quickly with his anger. "Out. NOW."

She screeched. "I thought I did!!! It's not myfault he turned big and ugly!!" She hopped on the back of the car.

Rodney saw the girl pounce on his poor car, he didn't want to remove another dent... He grabbed the guy in the front seat and pulled them out of the car, then shut and locked the doors with the spare keys. He then made his way to that girl...

He sat up, he was irritated now. He took out his grapling hook and tossed it so that it wrapped itself around Rodney several times.
