Jellyfish at the Ocean

Rodney sat on the hood of the car, brooding. The deep blue of the mustang shined in the evening light, reflecting the seemingly young man on it's hood. The muscle car was parked on the shoreline, right as the waves crashed and almost touched the tires. His suit jacket was on front seat, and his button up shirt was unbuttoned because of the hot, damp air. All he did was sit and think, that was it.

[Uh...it's Link Mart Hobo's turn!!!]

Hobo had her shoes off, and her feet in the sand. How wonderful it was to feel this way. It made her want to take something. Loved stealing with a deep passion. Her curly blue twirls heald up around it's place, and she re-braided her hair, scanning the shoreline.

He smelled the air, the sand, the beach, it was wonderful. The sinking sun painted the sky and water blood red, as if the whole ocean had collected all the blood spilled in the world. There was would be a sea full of it just from his own missions, his own orders. Slowly reopening his eyes, all six pupils widened to see all the auras. A bright orange one contrasted the calm of the animals in the area. It wasn't something he hadn't seen in a long time, almost... human like. He smiled, he hadn't seen a human in thousands of years.

A boy with light brown hair floated on his back in the ocean. Link Mart Hobo's 1 and 5 were in charge of the shop while 7 and 56 were taking some R & R. Although knowing them, one, if not both of them would end up robbing someone of something somewhere. Preferably it would be something of value that they could sell later.

"Somebody...somewhere must have something nice." She looked up at the sky, beautiful as it was, and her smile began to curl. The sky was nice, she thought breifly, not taking note on the unsualness, but it didn't really matter. She perferend not to fanastize about the sky, because there was nothing up there but clouds. She couldn't take those.
Then she saw somebody down the side, and tiptoed behind. Now there was somebady to target!!!
She skidded back twards 7. "Omg!!!! Hey orange!!!! I found someone!!"

The boy glared at his co-worker, he was touchy about the color of his hair and for some reason, hobo56 always thought he had orange hair, "It's brown..." He told her for about the millonth time. But this his expression turned to a devious smile. "Wonderful, who and where?" Stealing, something he was naturally suited for. So weren't all the other hobos of Link Mart, and even some of the lesser employees. For him, there really was no better R&R than taking another's possessions. Their victims could even get their stolen items back... if they came to Link Mart and bought it that is.

"Dude...it's orange..." Hobo pointed backwards to where Rodney Redheart was sitting, with his care parked and everything.

"...is not..." He mumbled as he looked over where 56 was pointing. "Oooh, that's nice, very nice."

Rodney acted like he didn't notice the other people, only because they clearly saw him. They probably thought he was nuts for parking the mustang on the beach where the sand and salt water could potentially ruin the undercarriage. He stared out at the ocean again, itching to take his full form and go for a swim, but there was no way he would leave the car alone now that he had been seen.
It was nice to relax, however. Rodney hadn't in a long time. Pulling out a ciggarette, he decided he could swim later.

Hobo scurried towards Rodney. Oh he had something, maybe even in the car. She wanted to know, wanted to see, wanted to takkkee it. Whyy? She didn't know. But Link Mart Hobo 56 was, above anything else, a thief, and a brat. She always got what she wanted, but didn't whine or beg for them. She went and got it herself. And she wanted to ssee what this guys had to offer!
She nodded at her parnter.

Rodney watched the girl's aura shift from a bright, happy orange to a michevious and cunning yellow. Still pretending not to notice, he shifted his weight to once side and grabbed the gun from the back of his jeans, acting like he was contemplating shooting something, maybe a seagull, maybe just the water, anything, before holding the pistol in his lap.

He nodded back. "check this out, I got a new one." He took out bombs and fused them with light arrows. He chucked the result towards the man with the car. A few seconds, nothing happened. Than suddenly there was a blinding flash of light with an exploding sound. Of course, this did no real damage, it was a distraction. Stealing damaged objects would be a pain when they had to be fixed later before they could be sold.

With that he moved in.

A horrifically bright flash caught Rodney's attention, it was a surprise. He knew what it was over though, someone wanted his car again. He shut his eyes and closed the extra pupils to see through the light, and drew the gun. The safety was off now, so when he pulled the trigger, a bullet was going to come out. It didn't hurt he shifted to half form either, those tentacles coming out of his back would probably scare off someone only trying to get a car.

Hobo7 held up his mirror shield that deflected the bullet. It may have been a mirror, but it was superb protection. Now, he waited for hobo56 to use her flower in whatever creative way she would.

56 blinked, straining her eyes with the flashing light. She had just barely see the gun before the light. It was too close to him. No chance.
What else would he have.
With the light fading, hobo made her first move.
Hobo slipped to the side, and ryshed to back of the car. No ordainary person would have been able to catch her movements. But then again, Link Mart had a tendancy to meet unordianry people.
56 drew her flower and bent it, postioning it to be a boomerange. She threw it at Rodeny, just a little to the left

He heard the bullet slam into something other than flesh... damn, he was sure that he hit them. Would using mana here draw too much attention? He could easily get rid of both of them with it. and he could deffinetly keep someone from taking the car if he turn himself into a little kid and sat in it. That one always worked. Back home no one wanted to be a kidnapper, that was vacation(s) penalty stuff right there.
He growled and felt pain in his left side, something hit him. It wasn't a bullet, that was good. A quick flick of his hand and a blob of water circled his hand. Water was good like that, fluid, you could use it on so many ways. Now.... Ice slick, or a ice bullets?

Hobo7 didn't know exactly what this guy was doing, but he knew he wouldn't like it. He pulled out an ice arrow and notched it into his bow, he aimed and fired and Rodney's hand. Hoping to do mess up whatever he was attempting to do.

Something wizzed out of the fog and slammed into his hand, only slightly being slowed by the water. Blood went into the bubble, and Rodney refrained from yelping. He growled and swung the mixture of blood and water like a whip in the direction of the arrow. After this he jumped over the hood of the car and got inside, fumbling with the keys.

56 blinked, as she jumped up to take her boomerang/flower type thing. Then, she put it at her side like a sheth, and drew from it a sword, where the bud of the flower was still attached. There was only so much she could do without knowing...
Was he starting it..?

Rodney put the key in the ignition, and revved the engine loudly. His hand was still bleeding, and he licked the wound. He hissed in pain and yanked the steering wheel roughly and drove down the beach, whipping up sand and water behind the blue mustang.

The whip cut 7's shoulder. "Unfortunate..." He mumbled to himself. The wound wasn't even the only unfortunate thing. He was too far away to do much. He wasn't quite as fast as 56. He didn't want to damage the metal contraption with his arrows or his hookshot. "maybe with a boomerang I could angle this right..." he spoke out loud to himself. "but first..." He pulled out a bottle with a golden liquid and took a swig and his wound healed right up. He held back his arm and prepared to throw his boomerang and threw it, but too late, he missed. "Dangit..."

Rodney looked up at the rear veiw mirror, and saw someone standing there with some kind of weapon. Rod spun the car around and stopped it, revving the engine again. Who did they think they were, trying to take his car?! He paid over 600,000 Michigan dollars for it! He rolled down the window and looked outside, and stuck his head back it, jerking the car forward a few feet at a time, like a bull in a fighting ring.

He caught his boomerang right as the car turned around. 7's mind raced with possible ways to stop the car without damaging it much. "hmmm, I wonder...."

Rodney continued to scowl, it was a stand off. 500 horsepower vs a guy with a boomerang and bow and arrows.

Facing the metal machine, Link mart hobo 7 pulled out something that was one of his most verstile tools. A 6 inch long, fancy looking conductors baton.

Well what the hell was that supposed to do? Rodney couldn't wrap his head around this guy. Usually when threatening to be run over, people would get out of the way, even IF they wanted to steal the car.

Hobo7 laughed out loud at seeing the confusion on this man's face. It must be weird, not knowing what this small instrument could do.

Not knowing what was about to happen was probably the greatest weakness anyone could have, and Rodney knew it well. As much as he hated looking like a coward, this situation was escapable. He whipped the car around again, and started driving away quickly, but not as fast as he would like. As it was he could be cleaning sand out of the engine for weeks.

Link Mart hobo 7 just stared with an expression that just said, "what the heck?!" After he accepted that he ran he cursed, "peetinkle, he got away. But we'll catch him, of that I am sure!"

As soon as He couldn't sense the other person's aura, Rodney slowed the car back down to cruising, and turned on the radio. His heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest. Were they other Omnias in disguise? If they were, the High Omnias would have him mounted and stuffed for escaping. To cover his trail better, he pulled the car off of the sand and into the grass for a couple hundred yards, then back into the sand again to rest. He needed a breather. "Relax Rod... relax.." He told himself, and it didn't help much.
