Jellyfish at the Ocean

56 looked at this. Her anticipation ...it had just...exploded in a burst of lighting. Her eyes peered at the screen. She all of a sudden...really wanted... to laugh.
Of course she was sure he was okay. Either way, it was like a comedy act before the show. Rodney seemed for a moment just as clueless as both of them. She held back her giggle, but by just barely. Just a moment ago, the crowd had been full of boos. Now the one that they were cheering for had accidently fried himself. How could she not find that funny?

Hobo7 saw and stared for a moment, than broke out laughing, so much for their big shot champion now. He just made a giant fool of himself in front of everyone by getting zapped in his home arena as far as 7 knew. He may be less powerful than this guy, but his intelligence seemed far inferior, of course, this was arrogance on the part of the Link Mart founder and had led him to severely underestimate Rodney.

Rodney got up slowly and groaned in pain. His body flickered for a moment between a real body and essence. The crowd booed. The announcer said something about chimeras and another door opened, releasing the beast.

Hobo7 looked at that thing, annoyed. He was hoping for a one on one with this jerk, but now this beast was going to interfere, and he didn't need to wonder whose side it was likely to take, and regardless, it would be annoying. He drew his sword and shield and took a prepared stance, eyeing the beast's motion while watching Rodney from the corner of his eye, he seemed legitimately hurt, which gave 7 a great deal of satisfaction.

The chimera, a dog like one, was veyr smart but chose to attack the omnia. It's gape was open as it charged, but Rodney turned to his omnia form for a few seconds, stinging the animal's tognue and throat. It yelped unhappily and spat him out as he changed back, quickly getting back up. "flingflong, alright, that won't work." What Rodney said was barely audible to himself, but put up on the screens in subtitles. The chimera decided to charge 7.

"Hah, you think I'll end better, mutt?" Hobo7 scoffed and rolled straight towards the charing beast, shoving his sword up and into the chimera's neck as he came up into a half kneeling position, the chimera's momentum driving the sword farther into itself, the blood splattered the ground and Hobo7 and the beast let out a howl as he removed his blade from the creature. "Hahaha, it'll take more than that!!" He shouted as loud as he could in a defiant tone aimed at the puppet masters of this fight.

Rodney threw a large blast of fire at 7 to capture his attention. The chimera's body twitched as blood leaked out of the neck in spurts. The omnia had a six inch switchblade in his hand, it was among three weapons he had chosen. There was a small explosive in his left pocket and a sharpened dragon spine in his right pocket. Rodney fully intended to kill 7 here, but like the true nature of an omnia, he also planned to play with him first.

Although it was just the begging, the crowd found itself with a roaring entertainment. The chimera's red ooz spilling over the floor did not satify the crowd's craving. They hungared for the bloodshead that would come. While the start of the match had been a bust, the rowdey cheers were quickly arising again. Gleams from the fighter's blade shot through the area, reflecting the lightsources of the pit. Rodney's switch blade. 7's bloodstained sword. Both could be seen on the screen, but truely looked more freasome in realitiy.

To replace her damaged chimera a new one was sent in, a feline class. It was small, a little larger than a domestic housecat but it was deadly with sharp claws and amazing speed. Rodney ignored it and glared down 7.

Hobo7 glared back at Rodney, waving his sword back and forth, eager to get into the fray. He kept a slight eye on the chimera, but wasn't too concerned about it, with how easy the first one was, he wasn't worried and how wrong he was.
Without warning he dashed at Rodney and swung his sword down at his shoulder.

Rodney allowed 7 to hit him, but not fully. His body disapated into water and reformed behind the brat. Rodney blasted gire at 7's back and ran away. Distance was his key, 7 was primarily going to use short range attacks based on what he had seen before.

7 went flying from the blast, but quickly gained his footing and turned again towards Rodney, "That won't work!" He yelled, pulling out his bow and firing ice arrows as quick as he could aim, two at his feet, one at his chest, and one to each of his sides if he wanted to run, for good measure he shot a fire arrow at the chimera.

The way Rodney moved his body with he water, the way it changed into it, it changed into him, was a phenomenal sight to be hold. It seemed like, in retrospect, that before this became a battle of strength, it was start out as a battle of elements. Rodney was so capable of honing to water to a vast extent, and it was noticeable throughout the whole stadium, that he surely would have had many tens of hundreds of years to practices, and though his flames had not yet been viewed in a fight, there were few in he audience that awaited its blaze. Still, even with so little years of experience in comparison, 7 was not to be undermined, for the Link Mart man had his on life experiences that had too trained him, and his sharp wits all about him. The hobo true lot never seemed to loose his level, as I a sheer guide us was sitting there, piloting a machine along. Nobody knew these facts better than the VIPs. However, the audience would soon learn.

Rodney burned the arrows quickly and scooted away at the sound of the chimera in pain. The animal writhed and launched its flaming body at 7, tearing into flesh with claws and teeth.

Held up his arm and cringed as the creature's teeth sank into his flesh and pulled an arrow and shoved it into the beast's heart and let it burn. He turned back to Rodney and this time waited to let him the next move.
