Dancing with flowers

misa looked up to lune who looked drunk as he wobbled toward aiya with a hot cup of tea. grabing him she pulled him away. "play nice lune..."she mumbled as she put him down near a table. he soon fell alseep there. "lovely...."she mumbled as she went to shin and whispered into her ear about what had happened with lune. she nodded in understanding. "yes I see. well then I guess you'll have to dance with someone else who knows the steps..." she said. "you know them by hearts shin."koji stated.

Hiro had moved away from the main table to stand up against the wall, he looked at everyone whom seemed to be enjoying the party, the youth were bounding about getting into trouble and everyone else found something. He though had much on his mind.

shin laughed as she pushed misa into a clearing. with a blush she finally decided to go on her own. shin'yuu nodded to one of the younger angels who was stanging near a boom box. she kicked it before she turned it on playing a soft song. the same song that misa had hummed. slowly she swaied from side to side before she spun around in perfect unison with shin. misa couldn't and wouldn't have realized it but she was, for the first time in her life, dancing from her heart and not her head. all she could think of was how tiny she felt next to shin.

Hiro looked up once the music started playing, a small smile formed from the corner of his lips while he watched the performance.

shin danced around misa softly before she started to sing hoping that misa would join in. eventually she did."black wings fly so high and come to me with love. the things that make me happy shine brightly for me. the garden of dragons sings to me. winged child with black feathers. sings me to sleep and holds me. the things I once loved have changed. so many flowers dance for him."she sang before shin and her danced around gracefully singing together. once the end of the dance came misa felt a tear fall from her eye. "black wings fly away now. never to come back again. I cry with out him here with me..."she said as the song ended.

Hiro continued listening the music made it that much more interesting.

shin'yuu bowed before walking back to the seat she was in before. misa stood there for a moment feeling glares come on her. she shruged them off and held the tears in as she went to her spot.

Feeling the room come at an unease his jaw clenched some as he looked around, still people didn't understand why they were here and because of it they looked down at them. His hand went back against the wall for a moment or so.

misa sighed as she looked over to koji and shin who where now cuddling.she sighed and went outside. she wasn't about to let someone see her cry.

Hiro caught something from the corner of his eyes, curious he followed whom ever it was outside.

misa kept walking. she didn't want to stop but knew she couldn't keep going. finally she stoped. tears flowed from her eyes making her makeup run. she desprately tried to wipe the mess away with a cloth that was used to hide her chest. she finally fell to her knees. she knew that she was curse and by agreeing to the trade she just threw herself so far into it that she could never fix things. she would end the world and she knew it. she put her face in her hands and sobbed loadly.

Hiro continued down the path where the person, hearing the crying he noticed the outfit, running over he dropped to one knee and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, whoa whoa what's with the tears Misa?"

misa didn't look up at him. "hiro....I'm such a horrible person...."she said through sobbs.

Hiro shook his head and turned her body toward his and lifted her head so she was locked eyes with him. "You aren't a bad person, that's the last thing you are."

misa shook her head. "no! you don't understand....there are things that wont and can't be stoped...."she said not sure how to tell him about her time power.

Hiro rolled his eyes before looking to her, "The past changes every day with the decisions we make. I wouldn't be here if not for you. Maybe I don't understand but help me to Misa, you helped me and now I'm trying to help you."

misa shook her head. "h-horrible things are going to happen...I can see it...its all because of me...."she said wanting to look away.

Hiro sighed and stood up with his hand slipping into his pockets. Looking around for a moment before his gaze landed back down on her. "Maybe they will, maybe they wont your family is there for you, your friend are, I am."

misa looked down for a second. "hiro.....can I ask you something?"she asked.

Nodding he shifted and offered her a hand hesitantly, "Sure."

misa took his hand. "aiya....is she like your girlfriend or something? kuz you know you two make such a good couple!"

Hiro growled and pulled her up to her feet, "No she wants to be though. Why do you ask?"

misa shruged. "good...she doesn't smell right to me....its weird...and I know she doesn't want me to hand around you she said so..."she smiled. she felt better about herself for now.

Hiro arched a brow and coughed slightly, "Eh did she?" Though he hadn't heard it he took her word for it. Aiya had done some nasty things to people, well girls Hiro hung around.

misa looked down. "I'm not really scared of mean girls....but aiya smells more like she's hurting than anything else...."she said shuffling her feet. "I think its wrong for her to want you all to herself...you have to have some friends."

Hiro looked to the sky and bit his lip some, "There's a reason for that, it's really a long story."

misa blinked. "can I hear? I swear I wont tell anyone!"she smiled. "and besides I like stories!"

Hiro shrugged some and inhaled deep, "Sure I don't see why not." Pausing he tried to recall a couple things first. "Well Aiya is mixed between a Tengu and a Kitsune due to her clan being the way it is. A lot of people discourage mixed blood but some don't care as long as conflicts don't break out. Aiya went after my brother and they dated for a long time and he thought she was the girl for him. Soon though he found out about her mixed heritage and said he wouldn't date anyone whom wasn't a pure Tengu aside from the trick magic she is like me and everyone else in my family. So after he dumped her she took to me for comfort cause I knew how my brother could be, when I showed more promise in developing he said I was adopted from a clan that used a demonic steroid. She thought we were getting relationship close so one day she said she loved me but I said I didn't feel the same way and I guess being shot down twice from brothers none the less hurt. So she's determined to get me now because she thinks she can change my mind."

misa looked down. "its like vince....he was so broken when I found him....then when I broke he saved me but then he started to hurt me....why are people so determined to hurt eachother? no matter what you are....dragon....phoenix....tengu...angel...we're all people and we all need help sometimes...but acting like animals isn't the way to act...we've come so far as a group of people...but we try so hard to separate ourselves from eachother we fail to see that we're all the same..."she said looking up at the stars.

Hiro shrugged some before he walked the last couple feet to a small pond that shimmered from the moonlight. "Who knows anymore."
