The man picked up his knight.. Without a smile, he began to twirl it in his hand. "Now that would ruin our little bet. Many of your questions will revolve around her." He put his knight doen at f6

Lendax grinned "Excellent point, it would and they will, but she's not the only one i have questions about." He moved the riku rook to g5.

"the only one, eh?" the man did not smile. He was tiered of smileing.

Lendax's expression remained unchanged,"not the only one, my friend, some of my questions will revolve around you as well."

The man clearly wasn't listing, picking up his knight and moving it to c5.

Lendax placed Riku at e5 and said, "You've gotten quite all of a sudden. Cat got your tongue, hmm?"

He placed his kinght near Riku at E6, only vagly acknolaging that Lendax had said anything

Lendax attacks the black knight at f6 with a queen. The horse backed soldier fought with the queen and won. The cards flew to the other man. "Watch out, my knight's coming for your bishop" he pointed to one of the man's bishops as he said this. This bishop was Miju.

The man froze a little bit. There was a small difference bettewwn his bonded pice and Lendaxes. He was Miju's Master. Miju traded her freedom to him once, but something went wrong during the contract. It was something only he knew about, the bond between him and his servent. It was the reason he came. Miju was in a fight, her pain beame his. This was the bond that could never be broken. Who knows what Miju's destrruction as a piece would do to him. The man scowled, gritting his teeth. He hadn't expected his oppenent to get as far as he did. The man took Miju's piece in hand and move it quickly to g5, without his face showing the slightest pankic or conceren.

a glint appeared in Lendax's eyes. "You're getting careless, my friend." He attacked miju's piece with Riku.
The two appeared and began their fight imididately. After a few minutes Miju hit Riku square in the chest with a magic orb and Riku faded away. Miju had won.
Lendax didn't seem too concernedl, he sighed and said "i guess you don't lose her quite yet, but you will by the end. Also, it's your turn now."

The man picked up his queen rook and twirled it aound his fingers. "The game is not yet half over, we still have many moves to make before the end." Her gazed at the spot were Riku had once stood, and where little Miju stumbled nervously. Riku was now his. Far below, in te deepest, most farthers way the earth and the darkness below it, he was no a prisoner.
The man laid his rook at d7

"You're right..." Lendax considers his pieces for a moment. "I believe my army needs replenishing." He mutteres to himself more than his opponent. He removes three of his pawns from the board and adds their cards, which were 8, 7, and 6 of diamonds to his side army. Than he picks up his knight and softly places it down on d2. "...this game is far from over."

"A game of stratigical war, of death and chance." He move the rook to d6, and closed his eyes. "It has a much better ring too it, don't you think. Sweeter then the traditional gameplay."

"Indeed, this game more represents the way things really are. To have the ability to become lucky, you need the right cards. To pull the right card, you need a bit of luck. You also must weigh options when deciding to attack. Patience, judgement, and luck." Castles his king to c1, leaving his rook at d1. "How did you happen apon this game? Is it of your deisgn or someone else's?"

He gazed his hard eyes at the old castle trick, which glinted in the slight amausement that someone with such words about this game would leasurely preform shuch an old trick,
"It is simple, just watch a war. Amazing what one sees form from it. Me and others watched the fighting is amazement long ago. Our eyes were curoius, and our plans slippery. I'm sure you know something about that at least."

"Of course, I have watched my share of wars fought amoung the humans. They are rather amusing, are they not? So pitifully weak minded with their short tempers and large pride."

It only took a few second, and the man put his head down and began to chuckle. He said it so simpley. Now, if only the world could see how simple it was. The rook was moved to c6.

Smirked at the man's response and moved his king to b2. It wasn't time for the king to fight. Not quite yet.

A kings attack can be powerful. The man observed how his opponet took in this power, and seemingly let none loose until the perfect time. Without so much of a tap, his rook was moved to c2

In one fluent movement, Lendax's rook was moved to a1. "Hmm, this game is getting quite. Our last conflict was when I lost Riku."

"Quiet...that's no good. I certainly wouldn't want to bore my honored quest..." He moved his rook to attack. His rook, represented by the nine of clubs, appeared in a corwering figure that was a shielder of many mighty men. Lendax's nine of hearts knight took stand and charged forward, and his sword gleamed. With a mighty slash the rook was cut in half, and its form withered away distanifully.

"Excellent, let's keep the fighting going." Lendax takes his rook at a1 to the man's pawn at a7. A towering figure similar to the one that was just defeated by Lendax's knight appeared to face a lone, normal soldier. The two exchange blows for not long before the pawn stabs the mighty rook and it falls. "Well that was unfortunate." He mutters as if it were merely a minor inconvenience.

"Isn't it odd how the small prevail sometimes. They are quiet pests when they do/" He glazed at Miju wihile making the statement, then moved her to f4.

"Yes," He moves his knight to c4. "It'd be better if they learned their place and stayed down like they should. But in the end it will only turn out bad for them, so all at least ends how it should be, with everyone in their place."

"Oh but must they always be annoying about it?" He asked,m moving his knight to c5/

"But of course, they are new to power, so naturally they get egos." Lendax picks up his knight and studies the board for a moment and places it down on d6, choosing a bold move to expose his knight to his opponents pawn, but it was worth it, for now the knight was in range of the king. There was always the chance the man would just run with the king, but Lendax had a feeling that he wouldn't.

No, the man would take the offensive, with his cocky bat cof confidence, he would move forward and crush his final enimy. This was his last fight. Truely, the man was old, and the High Council of Mikail didn not take lightly to limp. He moved his pawn foreward to attack. His small worrior in clad armor was easily crushed.

Lendax grinned as he picked up the knight and moved it onto the square e7. A regal looking man holding a massive two hand sword rises to fight Lendax's mounted knight. As Lendax and the man placed their cards down , the two figures fought in an intense battle. The man flipped over the Jack of clubs as his final card, the card that represented Miju. Than, as if in slow motion, Lendax flipped over the King of Spades, "Game over." And his knight slew the black king.
