Rodney smiled and poked the kid, pushing him back a little. "Are ya a bird or a plane, brat?"

"I both! That makes me a monster!" He squeked joyfully. Then he giggled.

Rondney chuckled, and in his mind was going through all the girlfriends and random hook ups he had in the last few hundred years. He was letting his mind drift again, going over his memories.

Aggea plopped over by them all sad looking. She grumbled a bit, and pouted due to the lack of yummy things. Her bag was also, gone, and that was also a reason to be sad...that poor girl scout...she'd never see the light of day again.
Anyways....
The kid came over and rawred at Aggy. She smiled slightly and pictched his nose.
Hey went "Heeey!!! What was that for??" and covered it.

Rodney snapped out of it and stood up. "I'll be back in a minute, I gotta piss. Claire, your in charge." He held up a hand as he walked off, as a way of saying goodbye.

"Claiire!!!! Mornin!!!" Aggea squeeled, and jumped at him happily. She spun around with exess engery, trying to shake off the bummedness. "When'd you get up??"

He squeaked at the girl's energy. "A- a while..."

She blinked. "Oh, really? I'm sorry.... I hadn't noticed..."

Claire nodded and turned around, when a pinecone flew out of seemingly nowhere and smacked him in the face. "Claire, I'm taking a piss. Don't turn around." Rodney said from maybe fifteen feet away, apparently, he was in back of that tree.

Even her hazle eyes giggled. Every adventure, no matter how strange, would always have some fun to it. It always did. That was what she loved, even with the hurt that came with some. Even with everything.
Her hand lifted up, Aggy's fingers fumbled over the smooth skin on her forhead. Sometimes, it just felt so empty. Sometimes...

Claire turned back around, embarrased. He was bright red and whispered sorry under his breathe.

[Awwwwwwwwwwwww]

There was something that she, now just realized, should be rememebering. Someone had once told her phrase....if you had forgotton it, it couldn't have been that important to begin with...but last time she thought that, Koji went missing for three days...eh...

Eventually Rodney came out from behind the tree and cluster of bushes, and took his jacket off and picked up the girl's robe thingie. He would have to bring it back to her... "Hey what day is it?" He asked, because that would detirmine whether or not she would still be on her 'job of the month' when he got home.

That. That was an afulayy good question. "Herpdederp!!! Um...." she thought. Monday...tuesday...boy oh boy was it easier to keep track of dates in school. "I dunno!" she said cheerfully, but quckily adding, "I think it's Friday!"

"Crap..." Rodney folded the robe up in his jacket and kicked dirt into the fire. "We gotta get going, I need to find my car."

A blank look crossed her face. "Wait....there's something.....I've forgotten...hmp..." Aggea knocked on her head with her fist. "It was something...important..... um...."

"What?" Rodney asked, and pushed Claire forward slightly. They needed to move.... they were in this place too long. It wasn't safe here...

"Something important....about the...." she looked up a the morning sky with puzzlement. The boy tugged on her shirt.
".....the....the houses.....the houses!!!!! I went into someone's house yesterday, and it was the weirdest thing!!! There was something there! Then there was nothing!!!!" she blurted, giving herself a virutual pat on the back for rememebering.

Rodney looked less than impressed, and Claire just looked confused. "What a wonderous discovery you made! That is just amazing!" Rodney smiled and clapped sarcasticly, and pushed Claire forward again. "We need to go and find somewhere to stay for the night." A loud bird made him stop and look up. "peetinkle, no we need somewhere to hide."

"Why??" Aggea blinked, tilting her head ti the left slightly, and her brown hair falling from her shoulders, "What do we need to hide from?"

"Cause me n' Claire are being followed..." Rodney crouched down and sat against a tree, watching the sky. Claire hid behind another, changing colors to match the bark.

The boy knew enough that when the grownups were talking, he should stay quiet. The other did not.
Aggea, who had the boy's hand, plopped down next to Rodney. "Wawawa?! Really??? Cool!! Have been fallowed this whole time? Can I meet them? Would they have any food? Or how about telling cool stories? Do they....." she started, brightly and exitedly thinking about the new twist that would befall them.

Rodney snapped at the girl. "SHUT UP!" He looked back up at the sky again, and drew his gun. He was down to the last few bullets in the magazine, but her had a few more with him. He shot at what looked like empty sky and ran further into the woods, still shooting at something.

The color in the girls face drained a little bit. A few years ago, she would have brushed it off cheerfully, She would have gone "Mkay!" and sat like a stone soilder, with the best of her short focus, did as she was ordered to do, still reambling about in her head.
But this was not a few years ago. This was now. And now, Aggea - Remei Himmoria - was able to recoginize when she was causeing irritation. At least, in a gerenal sense. And she hated it sometimes, being an annyoing loud mouth.
So, she just nodded, and sat there looking at the ground. Her face heating up with embarrassment, and apologize. And when Rodney ran, she figured that he didn't want her to go with him whereever he was going, sho she sat in silence and watched him go.

Rodney was gone into the woods, and Claire jumped when he heard him yell again, and changed colors brightly. "No, nononononononononnoono!" Trees fell and were smashed through as the giant bird came back the other way after spotting Claire, and the chameleon omnia changed to full form and hid inside one of the nearby still standing trees.

The boy, who started to run after Rodney, didn't recoginize the shadow. In the spot he was to. The shadow was that of a tree. He couldn't register what was happinging, and the bird's horrid call, the boy couldn't register.
The truck charshed down at a nearby sight, and the kid was no where in sight.

The two continued to hide, except one was badly maimed. The bird Omnia was busy tearing up a tree, one next to the one that contained Claire.

This wasn't a warm feeling. The boy found himself lost in a darkness again. This time, he wasn't exerpiming the confort he had before. He could feel nothing. Nothing at all. His whole body was numb, broken even. In that darkness, all he could do was lay there with a great weigth on his back.

Unbenonced to the kid, it was a large branch that was laying over him broken fromt the Omnia. Had it been the trunk, his little body would have been crushed. Uder the branch he was hidden by the mass of leaves.

Aggt was jolted by the Omina attack, she went from thinking to action too fast for her brain. She ran out to the path of dismemebered tress, and looked right at the attacking Omina. Wood spliters flew threw the air. Is this what had been fallowing Rodney. Whatever it was, it didn't look like it wanted to talk.

Claire bolted from the tree he was hiding in, and ran. like. hell. He was flashing bight colors to attract the bird omnia's attention, just like Rodney had told him to do in this situation. He had no idea where his temporary mentor was, but the teen was sure it was bloody and broken trapped under a tree.

Whiiiiich was pretty much true. Yes, Rodney was bloody and under a tree, but he wasn't trapped or (badly) broken. Most of his wounds were to his pride. And his lip, wrist, broken finger and bruised ribs.

[Oh no!! Not Rodney's pride!!! Anything but that!! XD]

The omina was headling one way. Aggea could see it...was it chasing something? She had no weapons, no arrows, and no magic (something she hadn't had for a long itme anyways). While it was distracted, she thought it best to find the others,
"Rodney?" she said, not in a large shout, but enough for something close to here her. She ran through the trees.
